Iulia Stoican has been appointed as Compliance Officer of Swiss-based reinsurer Echo Reinsurance Limited.
In addition to maintaining her responsibilities as Risk Officer and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer, Stoican’s role at Echo Re has expanded following her new appointment.
Prior to this, she has actively supported the company across Information Security Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance.
Stoican has been with Echo Re for over a year, having joined the company in 2025 as a Risk and Compliance Manager.
Throughout her career, the executive has also held roles at EY, KPMG Romania, Mazars Romania, and CGS (Computer Generated Solutions).
“This appointment further strengthens Echo Re’s Compliance and Risk Management functions and supports the continued development of its governance and control framework,” an Echo Re spokesperson commented on the appointment.
